My Own Experiences

Client Centered

I have been a nurse since 2002. My first jobs were in Hospice and I fell in love with the work. I have worked as a Hospice Nurse for most of my 18 years in the field. After an awakening experience with one of my beloved patients, I began to seek other ways of being present for the dying. This journey led me to Energy Medicine and Massage. I began my Massage and Energy Work practice in Colorado in 2007. In 2014, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This experience left me with a new awareness of the emotions and experiences that are evoked by receiving this news. I made my choices and carried on with my life with gratitude for having been spared. In 2016 I was diagnosed again, this time with greater consequences. It was during this experience that I decided I would work more closely with the dying. I joined and was trained by INELDA (International End of Life Association) in 2017. As a complement to this practice, I apprenticed as a Curandera in New Mexico for a year. Using a combination of my training and my experiences, I aspire to bring a new experience to the dying allowing for peace, closure, awakening, and integration to be experienced before the soul departs.
